Pastors Tim and Kristi
Singer felt called to adopt even before they said "I do!" After
adding Mia to their family of five, God stirred within them a passion for
adoption and orphan care. As they began to walk with other couples through the
adoption process, they understood that God's plan for them to adopt Mia was
only the beginning of a ministry to reach the orphans of the world. With the growing
awareness of the need for orphan care and adoption, the desire grew to
construct an effective organization that would not only benefit the local
church, but also the community and beyond. Chosen Ministry was birthed to fill
an obvious need that arose within their own congregation. They believe that the
church is responsible to care for the orphans and
widows and seek to encourage churches to step up and do
their part in fighting the orphan crisis. Pastors
Tim and Kristi are co-pastors at GracePointe Assembly in Winfield, KS. They
have four children, Mason, Evan, Jordan, & Mia. They are the founders and
directors of Chosen.
Luke and Jennifer Webster
took a step of faith to add two children to their family of five. In the
process God broke their hearts for the orphan. Through prayer and research He
opened their eyes to the vast need specifically in regard to the special needs
child. The country of their children's birth told them they should not
continue with the adoption of these two precious babies due to their
significant needs. However, Luke and Jennifer set their hearts on
following Jesus, even when it was difficult and the end result
unknown. Their experience in adopting children from hard places and
the journey that followed revealed the need to support and encourage adoptive
families. They have chosen to pursue their calling to reach out to the least of
these. Luke and Jennifer attend GracePointe Assembly in Winfield, KS.
They have five children, Caitlyn, Madilyn, Kaden,
Addisyn & Caleb. They have been instrumental in developing the
Chosen Ministry and serve as Assistant Directors.
